Welcome to 9 Main Street, Port Charlotte
...A welcoming there...
This traditional white-washed cottage was built in the 19th century and enjoys a central position in the village, between the pub and the post office/village store, between the school and the sea. Having formerly been a café, the lounge is spacious, and has 5 windows, a fireplace and partial views of the sea.
The kitchen/diner was recently installed with a new kitchen and includes a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen has a breakfast bar as well as dining tables .
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and a large bedroom with new beds which sleeps 3 and is ideal for children. (There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge so that the cottage can sleep 8 if required.) Finally there is also an upstairs family bathroom.
I hope all visitors, whether first timers or regulars, will enjoy staying at my house and fall in love with Islay ( if they haven't done so already) .
